Amaryllis in Bloom
It's open! This morning, with all of the nasty weather outside, the amaryllis has finally opened. We may have ice everywhere, and single-digit temperatures outside, but in here, I can enjoy a gorgeous, colorful flower.

Wonderful to enjoy a bloom midwinter! How is the winter seed sowing going? What vegetable plants that don't require deeply prepared soil (just setting up a garden with the no-till "lasagna" method) might be started by winter sowing? Also suggestions for companion flowers would be appreciated.
