Green Beans for Supper

This evening I went out to the garden and picked green beans.  They're cooking right now, with onion and new potatoes and a bit of ham.  It smells wonderful!


Last night we finally got some rain again.  It rained off and on throughout the morning and a sprinkle or two in the afternoon as well.  My rain gauge shows a total of 5/8 inch. The rain barrels are all full again.  They'd been empty, all except a bit left in one, so this is most timely.  I won't need to water for a day or two, but it's a comfortable feeling knowing there's plenty of water ready when I need it.
